Child abuse is a growing threat to today's children. In order for this to stop, we need to either enforce the laws we already have or create newer ones that would punish would-be offenders. Excuses by parents or guardians should not be accepted as the truth automatically and trails should be thourough in order to save the child. Just think if you left your child in the hands of another and came returned and your child had been physically, mentally, verbally, or worse yet, sexually abused?
