Title 8 of the United States Code, Section 1481(a)(3) states that American citizenship may be lost thusly:
"A person who is a national of the United States whether by birth or naturalization, shall lose his nationality by voluntarily performing any of the following acts with the intention of relinquishing United States nationality [by] entering, or serving in, the armed forces of a foreign state if such armed forces are engaged in hostilities against the United States"
Sulayman al-Faris, ne John Walker Lindh, has pled guilty to taking up arms with the Taliban against the United States of America. We, the undersigned, are appalled that in less than 20 years, this man will be free to walk the streets, breathe the air, and enjoy the freedoms of the country he so despises.
We wish to help Mr Lindh find the life for which he searches, free from the tyranny of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Upon his release from prison, we demand that Mr Lindh, or by whatever name he wishes to be called at the time, be escorted to the closest international border and be denied any re-entry to the United States for the rest of his natural life.
