Support for Andrew Kuan as Singapore's President

We, the citizens & supporters of Singapore, want to show our support for Mr Andrew Kuan Yoke Loon to become Singapore's next elected President.
With Mr Kuan's distinguished record in public service, & strong professional financial training & experience (see http://www.andrewkuan.com), we have confidence in him in
1. Being a 'People's President',
2. Providing a watchful eye over the Singapore's national assets & foreign reserve, &
3. In pushing for greater transparency & accountability in the Government-Linked Companies (see http://www.petitiononline.com/sg090865/petition.html).
Responsibilities which the incumbent has thus far failed to discharge despite having received close to $10 mil. in salary over the last 5 years. This could be attributed to his lack of financial training & his being appointed by the Singapore Government instead of being elected by the Singapore citizens.
If the incumbent, despite his poor performance & his alleged connections with the Japanese Kempeitai during WW2, is allowed to run for the Presidential Election, there is no reason for a more qualified candidate like Mr Kuan to be denied the 'Certificate of Eligibility'. Unless the Singapore Government is trying to manipulate the outcome of the election to suit its nepotic & despotic needs.
In addition, we demand that the Singapore Government stop treating Singaporeans as fools & manipulating the media to cast the incumbent in the best of light while conducting smear campaigns against all those who are running against the incumbent. This is childish & unconstitutional.
