TAX POLITICAL PARTIES IN INDIA

We, the citizens of India, have been at the mercy of politicians and political parties since independence. We have expensive elections and then we get almost the same set of people to rule us. Politicians waste precious time in Parliament and the State Assemblies, they follow their own agendas, while the state of the nation goes from bad to worse. The poor remain poor, the rich get richer, while the politicians fill their own coffers. Now the most important rights of Indians under the Right to Information Act (right to ask for file notings and cabinet papers) are being curtailed.
Political parties, in he meantime, make merry by collecting huge amounts from industrialists, businessmen and other vested interests for their expenses- THE INCOME OF POLITICAL PARTIES BEING EXEMPT FROM INCOME TAX UNDER SECTION 13A OF THE INCOME TAX ACT!!!!
I appeal to all of you cyber citizens to strongly protest this unjust charity shown to political parties so that we can file a public interest litigation in the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India to put an end to this inexcusable gift to political paries!
