We, the devoted Mike Piazza fans, are absolutely horrified with the New York Mets decision to most likely trade him in the 2006 season. We hereby propose this petition, and ask for "ONE MORE YEAR".
He has been an unbelievably helpful addition to the team for a total of eight years now. Why trade away history and the best home run hitting catcher ever?
We are so heartbroken and disapproved by this decision that we are taking this opportunity to demand the Mets owners and management to allow him to stay.
Support this great part of history and fight for Piazza's ability to remain in the orange and blue he is so recognized for and the place he calls his second home.
