The old facebook format is superior.. why the change ?

We the undersigned wish to object to the changes that are being forced upon us by the introduction of the new facebook design. As avid and passionate supporters of the old format, we react strongly to changes that we think are unneccesary and which serve only to distort the inherent uniqueness and quality of what is already a superior product. These changes are unwarranted, and sadly reduce facebook to the same level of banal, confusing, mediocrity- inhabited by many of its competitors. Although we respect the right of facebook to innovate and evolve, we vehemently ask that we, as users , be respected and allowed to continue with our own unique individual expressions, in the way that we ultimately seek to interface with the programme. We therefore respectfully ask management to retain the option to use the old format when/if the new changes come in to place.

The new layout is cluttered and confusing. I want to be able to look at just status updates and wall posts etc seperately. It's the least user friendly facebook has ever been and makes me wonder whether twitter might not be a better idea after all.
