The Return of Uchi Hiroki to NEWS, Kanjani8, and Johnny's Entertainment

We, the undersigned, strongly request the return of Uchi Hiroki to Johnnys Entertainment and the Japanese pop groups Kanjani8 and NEWS. We, as strong supporters of your artists, feel the need to voice ourselves, as well as support the members of all artists under your management. We believe Mr. Uchi has served his temporary suspension time as punishment for his past actions and that he deserves a second chance. It has been almost a year, and as supporters, we wish to see his return to Kanjani8, as well as NEWS.

We believe that Mr. Uchi is a valuable member of both Kanjani8 and NEWS. As one of the three main vocalists of Kanjani8, he contributes to the main core of the group. With its remaining members, Kanjani8 is only seven, and thus can no longer be known as Kanjani8, but Kanjani7, or simply Kanjani.

Sadly, NEWS has recently lost a third member, Mr. Kusano, and with the departure of Mr. Moriuchi in the very beginning, as well as Mr. Uchis temporary suspension, NEWS has lost a total of one third of their group. In addition, Mr. Nishikido stated on the NEWS album Touch DVD extra that he hopes to do work/do these types of interviews with Mr. Uchi in the future, as he feels that he cannot do them alone. Therefore, as the "West" in NEWS with Mr. Nishikido, we strongly urge for the return of Mr. Uchi.

We understand the position Mr. Uchi has put both the management and the record labels in, but please understand that there are decisions and mistakes people make in life that are not always in the right. Being absent since June 2005, please reconsider the situation concerning Mr. Uchi and allow his return to Kanjani8, NEWS, and Johnnys Entertainment. Please regard the above mentioned points, as well as the signatures of the voiced supporters shown below.
