The Sandra Day O'Connor Dress Code

We, the below signed students at Sandra Day O'Connor High School object to the current dress code of the aforementioned school in the NISD school district. Although, we understand the need for a dress code with a certain morality standard, and are willing to have a representative help decide on a new dress code, we feel the current dress code contradicts our rights stated in the first amendment. The first amendment clearly states that we have a freedom of expression - a freedom that entitles us to find a way to make ourselves individuals, separate ourselves from the crowd, and find ourselves. However, the current dress code contradicts this and in essence stops the progress in uniting each person in this search. Please take consideration. And the signers please keep this legal and sign your name only once.
