Thank you for your support with the DVD format. Your respective companies have helped to advance the format in availability and presentation to levels not even dreamed of during DVDs conception. Though your catalogues are large, and many films have yet to be released, we, the undersigned, respectfully request that the film THX 1138 be released in the DVD format.
This DVD, however should not simply be a low-end featureless title. Rather, a DVD that offers special features to educate and entertain those who are avid fans of either the film or of Mr. Lucas. This DVD could include any of the following features
Commentary with Mr. Lucas/ Members of the cast and crew
The original shooting script presented in a set-top or DVD ROM format
The Original THX 1138:4EB short film with commentary
A Biography on the life of Mr. Lucas
A collection of Mr. Lucas USC films
Newly recorded interviews on the experiences of THX 1138
Still Gallery
A featurette on the impact of THX 1138
A featurette on references to THX 1138
A newly recorded interview with Mr. Lucas on the subject of THX 1138, feature filmmaking, editing.
Deleted scenes/discarded ideas with commentary by Mr. Lucas
Storyboards
Outtakes
Any other archival/ behind the scenes footage
Trailers and other Publicity used for the promotion of the film
THX Remastered Picture and Sound
Production Notes included as a fold out booklet, complete with photos from the set.
Along with these suggested features, we, the undersigned, ask that you do not present the film in any aspect ration other than the original ratio approved by Mr. Lucas. Thank you for your time.

Releasing these movies on dvd would help slow down bootlegging. I would rather pay to have a professional copy than a home made one.
