In the early 80's the industry was just learning about how computers can make our lives easier to live with. The movie Electric Dreams pushed the imagination and allowed us to gain a deeper knowledge and love for what we can do. Unfortunately, this film is out of print on vhs and never made it to DVD. I remember the first time I saw this film, it made an impact on me which may have an answer of why I love working with computers as much as I do and own one of my own. I've tried for years to rent the film one last time, all video stores (BlockBuster, Hollywood Video, Movie Gallery) no longer keep it, in the inventory. It's time we make a stand and tell MGM & United Artist we would like to see and feel the magic all over again.
