We the undersigned opposed Dining Services' plans to revamp the dining account into a meals-per-week based model. As students, we resent the undue burden and inflexibility that such a plan would incur. As a part of the University of Kentucky, it is Dining Services' responsibility to provide meal plans that offer maximum flexibility and value-for-money to UK students. We do not feel that a meals-per-week model does this, and urge Dining Services to keep the declining-balance model currently in place. We further petition that dining account funds be usable at The Corner Store and Blazer Express, as it also currently the case.
