I Backstreet Boys sono un gruppo eccezionale, che ha segnato la storia della musica pop internazionale. Nata nel 92 e raggiunto l'apice del successo negli anni 98-99, la band americana и tornata sulla scena musicale nel giugno 2005 con un grandissimo album, "Never Gone", e con alle spalle oltre 73 milioni di dischi venduti in tutto il mondo.

Tra ottobre e novembre 2005 il loro tour ha toccato anche l'Italia, e francamente, in qualitа di fans, ma anche di semplici musica-consumatori (se ci и concesso usare, o meglio coniare questo termine) siamo rimasti a dir poco sconcertati dallo scarso interesse (a nostro avviso) che i media (in generale) hanno mostrato nei confronti del ritorno della band made in USA.

Dal momento che San Remo и la manifestazione canora piщ importante in Italia, e dal momento che propone la musica pop/leggera/rock italiana, vorremmo suggerire di invitare i Backstreet Boys in qualitа di ospiti internazionali, come lo sono giа stati nel 98, in quanto ci sembra il contesto ideale per farli esibire nuovamente sui palchi italiani.
