Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan has confirmed that Greater Manchester Police have moved to withdraw the safety certificate from the JJB Stadium.
If the move is successful the Laitcs will have to play future home games behind closed doors starting with West Ham on the 2nd of April.
The Police have been charging Wigan Athletic upto four times what they have been charging other clubs of a similar stature.
