Dear Fellow FET students of MMU Malacca,
Mr Jonas, is a very well respected, dedicated and responsible lecturer in MMU. Over the past, he has done much, and too much out of his own capability, to see all of us achieve well. All the many achievements that FET made, he was part of it. He willingly and unselfishly offered his guidance and his sincere friendship to his students. Which lecturer has ever taken 50 students for FYP in one academic year? Which supervisor has the most students under him getting 'A' for FYP? Which lecturer offer you the best understanding in the subject he taught? I am sure we all have an answer, and he is none other than the Mr Jonas who taught us.
But it is sad to say that he is ending his term this coming September due to MMU's refusal to renew his contract. It is hard to believe that MMU is willing to let go such a good lecturer who can continue to educate more quality MMU graduates.
This petition here, might not make a difference to Mr Jonas's departure. But we all have at least a word or two that will show Mr Jonas that we appreciate his efforts and he is a very good lecturer in our hearts. Please do so with your sincere heart... We thank you Mr Jonas!

Initially you seem like a very fierce lecturer to me when you taught me programming. However, after sometime, I found that you are a nice and helpful guy. This guy is a genius. it is a lost for MMU to let him go
