WIZARDS AND WARRIORS DVD PETITION:
To Warner Brothers Home Video, Sci-Fi Channel:
We, the fans of the 1983 CBS fantasy series Wizards and Warriors, ask Warner Brothers to consider releasing the series on DVD. In addition, we also request that the SciFi Channel replay the series on their station.
What we would like:
-All episodes released, uncut on DVD and VHS formats.
-Commentary by the actors: Jeff Conaway, Julia Duffy, etc.
-Commentary by Don Reo (series creator)
-Clear film to video (or DVD transfers)
-Improved/Enhanced video tracks
-Restored footage (if any exists)
-Publicity still shoots
-Footage from the next weeks previews
-Audition reels from the actors (if any available)
With movies such as "Lord of the Rings," "Harry Potter," and additional fantasy series increasing in popularity, it has been established that there is a strong demand for this type of product.
Television, with such shows as "Hercules," "Xena" and others have also successfully proven the commerciality of this genre.
Wizards and Warriors was a well-done, though short-lived series. We encourage Warner Brothers and the Sci-Fi Channel to consider reintroducing this series to the public.

I used to love this show and watched it religeously. Not only do I think it would be awesome to get ahold of the old series on DVD but maybe continue on with the story. Not with the original cast or characters but possibly in some other way.
