www.themestreams.com owes us money!!

As a contributor to www.themestream.com I recieved the following letter today. They will be closing doors in 2 days, and have given us one day to save all of our information. They will not be paying us the money the owe us for the work we have done. Although, the will file a 1099 to the IRS if we have made over $600 in one year. I have not been paid in 5 months, so it is my understanding, they are 2 months late in paying me (over $200) and now WILL NOT PAY ME! We provided a service and were not paid as it says we will be in the user agreement. In the user agreement, it does state that they can change or stop services, but it doesn't say that the will not pay us for previous work. Even when someone files bankruptcy, the creditors have a chance to appeal their payments. We need to appeal for our money. Please sign my petion if they owe you money too! It has always been our pleasure to serve you.And it hurts us to tell you that we are ceasing all business operations. Themestream is in the process of trying to sell some or all of its assetsand negotiating with it's secured creditors. Although we won't know theoutcome of these negotiations until they are complete, we believe it is veryunlikely that we will be able to pay any other creditors- includingcontributors. We will inform you if the situation changes. Otherwise, youshould assume you will not receive any further payments from us. We will continue to abide by our privacy policy and will take all reasonablesteps to safeguard any of your personal information stored on our servers.If you do not have back up copies of your articles, please go to the site -
