To the Yellow Pages
We, the undersigned, do not want your printed directories forced onto us every year. We do not want them, do not need them and fail to undertand this continued pointless and wasteful exercise. For most of us, the books don't even make it indoors - they go straight out with the recyling. Seriously, this really is utterly pointless!
Whilst we understand that some households do want them, we don't. Without very much thought at all - here are a few channels to consider: Negotiate to deposit copies at stores like NZ Post, The Warehouse, Petrol Stations or Information Centres - even if they don't see it as a benefit to themselves (foot traffic), surely they will embrace it as a benefit to New Zealand as a whole (good PR).
Please think about this before printing your 1.5 million plus copies next year. Surely in these tough times, you would welcome the opportunity to save this budget or spend it more wisely?
