To the Residents of District 1, Nova Scotia, The owner of DOG LUV-Dog Wash, Services & Supplies (located in Porter's Lake), Katherine Chaisson, occasionally takes care of her clients dogs at her home when they are out of town. She is interested in opening a dog boarding facility at her home. She resides on the Bayers Mill Road and has lived there for 31 years. Because of the current zoning in her area (District 1) she is unable to continue to take care of peoples dogs as a business unless the zoning is changed. She is asking for your support so that she may go to the Municipality and request that the zoning be changed so that she may proceed with the opening of this business. Ms. Chaisson believes this business would be a hugh benefit to her community and would help not only to boost our economy by opening another successful business on the Eastern Shore, but provide jobs in her area while also providing a safe place for residents of District 1 to leave their dog while vacationing or out of town.
