4Kids TV Censorship

Why am I doing this? Because I recently received shocking, devastating news related to a very popular anime show many people know and love, Yu-Gi-Oh! Ryou, or as many of you know him, Bakura, has been cut from the series. The last time he was heard from, he was in the Millennium Puzzle. It looks like thats his new home. In the original series, he reappears, but thanks to Americanization, this beloved character is gone. There are plenty of people out there petitioning for the 4Kids producers to at least reduce their censorship of the shows they air. I am one of them. The artists of these shows probably wouldnt want the meaning completely drained from their shows. Freedom of speech applies to media, too. Though the artists may not be American, if they have a show being broadcasted, they would at least want the plot to remotely resemble the original. Unfortunately, this is not the case. This is why I need you to help me appeal to the 4Kids network, and ask them to find an alternative to censorship. There are many, many alternatives. I understand that Yu-Gi-Oh! is aired on two stations. They have the option of broadcasting late night on either channel, when the younger, more sensitive viewers are less likely to watch. They could also broadcast during Toonami, on Cartoon Network. Naruto is aired on Toonami, and it has nudity. So there should be no problem broadcasting a show with no nudity and only mild vulgarity. Every signature counts. This petition isnt just for Yu-Gi-Oh! Its for all the other shows that have been Americanized and brutally censored.
