9/11 Survivors Medal

Attention has been brought to the creation of a 9/11 Survivors Medal. This medal is designed to memorialize all deceased and living persons who fell victim to 9/11, as well as spouses and children of victims of 9/11. Specifics of award of this medal are proposed to the following:
" All surviving members of the attacks, deceased personnel from each flight and each building, which were attacked, as well as firefighters and any other deceased civilian who simply lent a helping hand in the evacuation efforts. In addition to the deceased victims, the immediate, surviving family members of all deceased parties, as well as surviving civilians, policemen and firefighters, should all be awarded, as well. Also included: Military personnel who fell victim to 9/11, Civilian employees of the Armed Forces and the next of kin of deceased veterans."
We, as a grateful and free America, ask Congress to have our most brave men and women, who gave the ultimate sacrifice, memorialized and honored in this manner.
