We are a group of teachers, parents and professionals who are aiming to open a Free School within the East London/Redbridge area. The main aim of the Abeng Independent School would be to enhance the education of disaffected & disadvantaged children in the UK and overseas.

Abeng Independent School will be known for its academic excellence; for its innovative teaching methods; and for its creative and relevant curriculum. We aim to be a Specialist school in Science, Business and Enterprise, with the aim of inspiring and equipping our children with greater knowledge and a sense of purpose also. We also seek to challenge and support every student so that he or she can develop their potential and personality to the best of their abilities.

We strongly believe that this opportunity should be used to bring more funding into our local areas and to provide more school places and increase the attainment levels of our children.

The Abeng Independent School will offer education to children from age 4 to age 18. It will begin in SEPTEMBER 2012 as a full primary school and then will grow on a year by year basis into a Secondary School as well. Will help raise the attainment levels and offer more primary classrooms in certain deprived areas of East London where there is high demand for more Schools.
