Action against Opus Opus Dei

To: Italian Government and all concerned
To the kind attention of the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and all prime ministers and presidents of their respective nations


It is rather unfortunate what we have heard and seen in recent days!

We were deeply shocked seeing a Danish newspaper (Jyllands Posten ) offending almost 1 billion Muslims around the world by publishing a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed seen as a terrorist carrying bombs on his head recently! and now certain group of extremist and (religiously) racist catholics based in Italy have followed in their steps, "Opus Dei", we urge you to bann and outlaw this organisation as there is no difference between them and Islamic extremist's if you are sincere you will take harsh steps against this extremist organisation. An Italian magazine close to the influential Catholic conservative Opus Dei group has published a cartoon showing the Prophet Mohammed in hell, sparking outrage among Muslim's worlwide and reactions will follow if actions are not taken soon enough and a apology issued by the organistion and its associates.

The drawing is published in the March issue of Studi Cattolici. According to the Italian news agency Ansa, the cartoon shows the Italian poets Dante Alighieri and Virgil on the edge of a circle of flames looking down on Prophet Muhammed whose body is cut in half.


This is not just offending Muslims but Non muslims too as prophet Muhammad was sent as a mercy to all creation, it is seen as provokeing reactions from Muslims which is not acceptable by humanity as our beloved prophet is being insulted by ill educated groups and due to their hatred of Thousands of people accepting the true message of Islam year in year out, since Prophets of God are messengers of peace that came to spread peace an good well to all people this includes as well: Prophet Moses, Prophet Jesus, Prophet Noah, Prophet Abraham.. why are they being depicted as such in so called countries which allow freedom of speech? This all due to illetracy and countries such as Italy and others who have published such filth should endevaour and spend money to educate their masses instead they choose to leave thier people in ignorance it is just depicting Nations in the West as backward and failing to educate their people.

I just wonder, would your government reaction have been the same if the cartoon displayed Prophets Jesus bearing in mind its a strong hold for Roman's what would the current pope have to say!?

We have always viewed Italy as a peaceful country that respects all people around the world. I am afraid the latest events have corrupted this image, not just in the eyes of Muslims but also around the world. Just like Danish products we will have no choice but to urge that Muslims that they boycott also Italian products until a solution is sought. I am afraid, this might change if Italian react's in a negative manner.

We still expect that your kind government will react positively to this insult by banning this cartoon and asking the newspaper to publish an apology to all Muslims as well as banning this organisation for provacation.
