pet Rabbits cannot be vaccinated for Mixamatosis in Australia , this is a cruel and horrible death the gov erment has created to rid australia of wild rabbits , I am asking the public to sign this petitionso reponsible rabbit owners can vaccinate thier pets . i have just lost 4 beautiful pet Rabbits to this horrible virus my rabbits were vaccinated and desexed so they could not breed with wild rabbits if escaped . I live in surburbia not country so there was no reason for the council to release this virus which killed my pets.
the council released this virus so they could build more houses and and have no wild rabbits in the area this practice is cruel and disgusting the virus causes the rabbit to die slowly blinding them and causing them to starve slowly and in pain . other countries allow the pet rabbit to be vaccinated why cant australia
I heard its because the company that owns the vaccine havent enough people willing to buy the vaccine to bring here in Australia as people are buying more small pets such as Rabbits as housing dwellings built are much smaller there will be more unessesary deaths of these beautiful animals please help and sign so we can vaccinate our pets
