Apologize For Your Mistake, Iranians Won't Stand Any Insult

On the 4th of September a disgracing cartoon about the Islamic Republic of Iran was published in your newspaper. This cartoon is an evident insult to the Iranian nation and has offended their national pride and feelings.
What youve done is against the ethics of journalism. It is neither acceptable nor justifiable at all.
The duty of journalism and the press is to show the people an unbiased and real image of the world. Your work violates the ethics of journalism and is considered as part of the psychological warfare against Iran.
The Iranian nation has a bright historical record which is well-known around the world. Throughout the history Iran has not insulted other nations, even the invaders.
Our king, Kourosh (Cyrus the Great) wrote the worlds first charter of human rights. Such a nation will never tolerate any insult and would not allow these events to happen again. Such works just create hatred, enmity and hostility between nations.
The undersigneds expect the newspapers editor to make a formal apology to the Iranian people for publishing this cartoon. Furthermore we advise the editors to observe the ethics of journalism and reciprocal respect.
