Please join me in my effort to persuade the Roanoke County Planning Commission to change the regulations to permit a Roanoke County citizen to keep chickens (hens only) in their backyard, confined in a chicken pen for the purpose of egg collection, without the requirement of Agricultural zoning and acreage requirements.
I support a change in Roanoke County regulations to permit the keeping of residential poultry for the purposes of egg collection in a residential suburban, non-agricultural setting.
