Banish the Inverness Curfew

The 12 o'clock curfew in Inverness means if you aren't in a pub/club before 12 you can't get in anywhere, or if you leave a pub/club after 12 you have to go home.
We are attempting to let the powers that be in Inverness know that we do not stand for this archaic, unpopular and outdated rule. We say lift the curfew, and improve Inverness for all involved. Residents, visitors and tourists are all affected.
It is genuinely our belief that the curfew is unwanted, not only by younger folk, but by all demographics in Inverness.
If Inverness really wants to become an innovative, forward thinking city with a view to the future, the curfew has to disappear.
We will be attempting to organise a series of events in the new year to publicise and raise awareness of our campaign, this time we will be taking it very seriously and I implore every one of you to do the same.
If you are a resident in Inverness, full-time or part-time, or merely visit occasionally or have even visited a handful of times we would like to hear your opinion on this. We are open-minded and would also like to hear reasons for the curfew existing, and will attempt to build a full and clear picture of the opinion over the course.

I think it's an absolute joke that you cant get in anywhere after 12- it's ashame on people that are not from Inverness that dont know.

The curfew is outdated and unnecessary and spoils the enjoyment of your night if you 'just miss' getting into a pub by a few minutes, complete pain in the neck!
