Baseball on Five

Recently, the UK public were told that the first terrestrial television station to host baseball was not going to be showing as many live games as it used to.


This is because a Sky Television Channel (Sattelite), Channel 425, has received or bought the rights to show the baseball as well.





We would like to have the rights for Sunday AND Wednesday Baseball games given back to Channel 5, due to the following reasons:


1. Channel 5, since it's conception, has been hosting Baseball on Television with a good level of sophistication.


2. The Pundits / Hosts know what they are talking about and have a level of care for the game and the community in the UK.


3. We would like to have Channel 5 retain the rights to show baseball on the above-mentioned days / nights so that every person can watch the sport. This is because not everyone can get Sky Television.





From this we would like to have Channel 425 (on Sky) show Baseball on OTHER days.





We, the Undersigned, would like to have fairness and equality and have terrestrial television stations in the United Kingdom broadcast the game we love.
