BF2 patch 1.3 "No more Squad Jumping" approval

BF2.se has started a petition to get EA/Dice to call back a part of the upcomming 1.3 patch. This part is as follows:
"If the player joins a squad while dead, the player will not be able to use the squad leader as a spawn point until they have respawned once."
(Practical meaning: No more Squad Jumping)
BF2.se think this is (quote): a "spit in the face of the entire professional BF2 community".

I think this change of the gameplay is great and hope that BF2.se doesn't achieve what they are trying to do.
