Bring back the old 606 boards

There is a general consensus among 606 users that the quality of the 606 boards has been steadily decreasing, and the latest change in format, which involves closure of the old 606 boards by October 2nd, is against the wishes of the vast majority of 606 users, and has been made without any consultation with those users.
The 606 messageboards used to be home to enjoyable football banter and discussion where football supporters could discuss footballing topics serious, topical or sometimes irreverent. Overpolicing by moderators, removal of club-specific boards, the "3-minute rule" and removing the ability to post new threads have all tried the patience of 606 users, causing many to leave the site. The recent radical change from a messageboard to a user-unfriendly blog system will only drive away more loyal users and make 606 sterile and unattractive, if not kill it altogether.
WE IMPLORE THE BBC TO REVERSE THE RECENT CHANGES TO THE 606 FORMAT. Since these messageboards are supposedly to allow the public to air its views, we ask that the BBC would start to listen to the voices of its loyal, licence-paying users regarding any future changes to this public forum, and recognise the unrest among 606 users regarding the recent "improvements."
Give 606 back to the fans it was created for.
