We believe that the recent expenditure of 14,000 on new equipment for the sound crew at King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys was a gross misuse of school funds, which would have been better served on improving facilities that the entirety of the school use, such as instruments in the music block or fixing existent/installing new water fountains, rather than what is essentially a set of toys for five or so students.
The majority of the school saw no problems with the previous set-up and have noticed more problems with the new than the old.
We would like to see greater measures introduced to prevent such an occurrence happening again.
