Be it known that the Psi Chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority has enjoyed a 71-year history on the University of Georgia campus. Changes in University Greek recruitment policy have provided overwhelming challenges for the Psi Chapter to grow and maintain its membership. At this time, Delta Phi Epsilon is seeking to secure its future as a member of the University of Georgia community with guarantees from the University of Georgia Dean of Students, Rodney Bennett, and the Office of Greek Affairs through the following means:
1. Written, guaranteed invitation to return to campus by the University of Georgia Office of Greek Life to return to campus in 2011 without a Panhellenic vote and the option to extend that invitation should the campus climate not be appropriate.
2. As Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority has been a good steward of the University land and reputation, we ask for fair compensation for the improvement and maintenance of the property in alignment with the assessed value of the property.
