We write to present our suggestion for a new Asian TV series to be shown on your network. We take courage in suggesting our certain choice of TV series because we can fully say that the series will bring the same phenomenon Meteor Garden had brought the Philippines.

We want to suggest that you acquire the rights to show Devil Beside You in your network. Devil Beside You is a series which stars Rainie Yang and Mike He. It is produced by the same person (Angie Cai) who produced the very popular Meteor Garden. It is still showing in Taiwan and is getting very good reviews and ratings from the press. The series has gained a big fan base all over Taiwan with just 8 weeks of being shown on their national television. Online, fans and non-fans of the two stars are clamoring to watch the series because its as addictive as Meteor Garden.

Rainie Yang plays the role of Qi Yue. But who is Rainie Yang? Rainie Yang is best remembered as Xiao You (Shan Cais best friend) in the popular series Meteor Garden. She is the girl who fell in love with Xi Mens (Ken Zhu) character in the series. Most of the Filipinos dont know that ever since Meteor Garden was shown, there had been a formation of a Rainie Yang fans club, Philippines chapter. Showing Devil Beside You will be a great comeback for her in the Philippine television since she practically grew 5 years older ever since the Meteor Garden series. With Devil Beside You being one of the most watched TV series in Taiwan, Rainie had gained more popularity from the people. She had starred with many series but Devil Beside You is the most favorite amongst fans and non-fans. She already is one of the most favorite leading ladies by young actors because of her petit appearance and likeable personality.

Mike He plays Jiang Meng (nickname: Ah Meng). Mike is a model turned actor who caught every girls heart in portraying the lead male role on a popular Taiwanese series Love Contract. He is one of the most wanted actors in Taiwan having that loveable face and unwavering talent. He is also one of the most well loved actors and is one of the most popular ones in Taiwan. Who wouldnt love a good looking man like him? Devil Beside You appearing on Philippine television will be a great debut for Mike He. His portrayal in the series is very good and actually made him gain more fans all over Asia.

These two main characters, as the E-news in Taiwan had said it, is the newest IN couple in their place. They are all over the television because they are requested by fans to appear together.

There are some good reasons why we think Devil Beside You needs to be shown in the Philippines, most specifically in your network:

1. The story itself is interesting. Filipinos would definitely love to see a light hearted series like this nowadays. Although it kind of resembles the Meteor Garden series, it has its own good points. If we may say, Full House made it big in the Philippine television because of the funny storyline that made Filipinos laugh. Were not saying that Devil Beside You is the same as Full House rather that its storyline is twice as funny as the said Korean series.
2. There are really a lot of Filipinos who wanted to see the show. It is being shown in Taiwan once a week and for those lucky Filipinos, they are able to watch it in cable (CTV) at 10pm every Sunday. But not most Filipinos are as lucky as them. Some really have to spend hours and hours of downloading an unsubbed series. Some satisfy themselves with just viewing captures of each episode. With the series being shown in the Philippines, fans and non-fans that are aware of the series and love it will be happy. Not only those who are aware of it, we can proudly say that even those who only just hear about it just now will love it.
3. We think with proper advertising, Devil Beside You will reach the same popularity as Meteor Gardens popularity. The lead actors will be as loveable as the Jerry-Barbie team up because Mike and Rainie are two of the most beautiful faces in Taiwans entertainment business. Asian TV Series Forums in the web are already talking about them. Those who do not know them before but saw Devil Beside You are all falling in love with them. Even people who only love Korean series are looking forward to more of the series. It is really that addictive.
4. It is both beneficial for your network and for us, Rainie fans. We truly believe that if you choose to show the series and it is shown in a perfect timeslot, your network will get the ratings you want. You benefit in that sense and we benefit because we can finally introduce an older and more mature-looking Rainie Yang to the Filipinos.
