Dr. Jenny Tonge - supporter of mass murder

A week ago several devastated families in Israel buried their children from yet another Palestinian homicide bombing. Shortly after this heinous and despicable act Dr. Jenny Tonge a member of the Liberal Democrat Party of Great Britain, not only expressed her support for the mass murder of innocent people, many of them children, she even proclaimed she would consider becoming a bomber herself.

For the last 3 years in Israel we have been subjected to over 100 such bombings. We have had to watch as lives have been senselessly torn apart. Parents have lost children and children have lost parents.

There can and never will be any cause that justifies the cold blooded murder of innocent people while sitting on a bus or while eating at a pizza parlour.

Dr. Tonge's remarks have brought dishonour and shame to the Liberal Democrats. She has shown not an iota of remorse and no apology has been forthcoming. In fact if you write to Dr. Tonge you will receive a standard reply expressing the fact that she has received in excess of 3000+ replies and is unable to respond to each one individually. The email continues as follows: "To the many who wrote in support, thank you. Your support and good wishes are hugely appreciated". Are we to assume by such a preposterous statement that Dr. Tonge has found several thousand like minded, potential mass murderers among the general population? This is simply beyond belief! In fact the standard reply then contains the following statement:

"To the fewer who wrote in rage, despair or sorrow, particularly any of our constituents who have a right to expect a personal response: Please remember that to understand is not to condone. The cause of peace in the Middle East, upon which all our futures depend, has been put back on the agenda".

What is it that Dr. Tonge understands? She obviously does not understand that mass murder under any circumstances is a crime against humanity and no "desperation" or act thereof can ever justify it.

It is not sufficient to remove Dr. Tonge from the front bench. She has spoken with total disregard for over 600 innocent Israelis who have been murdered by homicide bombings. This is not only an insult to their dignity; it is simply a travesty that goes beyond any decent barriers that one would expect from a member of the British Parliament.

Mr. Kennedy it is not sufficient to remove Dr. Tonge from the front bench, she should be dismissed immediately.
