To the staff at Facebook:
We are submitting this petition as concerned members of a Facebook Group named "The Party Pokers". We are a group of respectful, well organized, well mediated people who all enjoy the brilliance of the Poke button option.
We request that the staff, and administrators of Facebook reconsider the Warnings, and/or the banning of a persons Facebook ID for Poking.
The Warning reads;
Warning! You are engaging in behavior that may be considered annoying or abusive by other users.
Facebook's systems determined that you were going too fast when poking. You must significantly slow down. Further misuse of site features may result in a temporary block or your account being permanently disabled. For further information, please visit our FAQ page.
Recently our Head Administrator organized a marathon Poking event which had over 30,000 people attending. Most of these people receive these warnings, some did result in people losing access to their own accounts. Our Party Poker Group itself has over 3,000 members, and is growing every day. We assure you that no member feels that they are being annoyed or abused by the Poke.
We the undersigned, ask that you consider updating the best feature on Facebook, the Poke button, by removing these warnings. Thank you for your time.
