Commuters who reside in Cambridge, Guelph and Brantford require better GO Transit service for daily commuting needs. The GO Bus is inconvenient for a large amount of commuters due to irregular departure times and heavy highway traffic, and regular train service is essential and very much desired.
With more people moving out of big city cores, and four major universities and colleges in the area, there is greater demand for improved and reliable transit options. It is only sensible for GO Transit to extend the GO Train service past Milton and into under-serviced cities, as listed above.
