We the undersigned are disappointed at Norwich City Council's administration failings that served to halt the 'Taking the Lead' campaign.
We ask that NCC (Norwich City Council) urgently resume work with F.A.I.T.H. Animal Rescue and give this campaign the support it deserves!
'Taking the Lead' is a project that will offer free neutering, micro-chipping and free dog discs to all dogs from local authority housed families within NCC area. The increased number of stray dogs is providing a huge problem, particularly with Bull Terrier breeds and their crosses. Across the country thousands of young Staffies and Staffy crosses are being destroyed. Every 80 minutes an unwanted/homeless dog is put to sleep. If NCC and FAITH work together we can begin to control the situation in the Norwich area and hopefully "lead the way" for similar campaigns across the country!
