HSP needs Rick back now!

HSP NEEDS RICK BACK NOW
Since the Board of Directors took over running the Humane Society of
Pinellas in May of 2006-
- they have not been able to define their euthanasia policy
- they have killed adoptable animals
- they have stopped the long term foster program
- they have fired or forced employees to leave
- they have asked respected volunteers not to return to the Shelter
- they have refused to divulge current bylaws
We have no faith in the current "leaders" to do what is right for the
animals. They are concerned with running the Shelter strictly as a business.
They are not concerned with putting the animal's welfare first. Rick
Chaboudy's reputation for doing the best for the animals is unquestionable and we have every confidence that fewer animals would be unnecessarily put down with Rick as Executive Director.
If you would like the shelter to adhere to the policy stated on it's
website: "We are your animal shelter. We take great pride in our unique
philosophy which recognizes that pets and their situations are unique. In your shelter, pets are treated as individuals and their fates are not determined by rigid policies. Furthermore, we are committed to treating most medical conditions, giving more pets the opportunity for life." then please sign this petition to have Rick Chaboudy reinstated as Executive Director.
The Humane Society of Pinellas is being called the Inhumane Society and we need to stop this now!
AT THE END OF THE DAY; WE ALWAYS KNEW RICK WAS THERE FOR THE ANIMALS!
