Investigation of Improper Behavior by Residential Life Staff at the University of Tampa During Fall 2010

We the Students, Faculty, Staff, and Alumni of the University of Tampa petition the university to investigate the inappropriate actions and behavior undertaken by the Residential Life Office Staff in denying housing to one of our students and providing him with little to no support in order to help him through his situation thus forcing him to live out on the street for days while he was waiting to be placed in proper housing. This event, having occurred the first week of classes of this Fall 2010 Semester, has put a stain on the superior reputation of the University of Tampa and has compromised the image of the university in the eyes of the community.
We petition for all Residential Life Staff directly involved with this incident to be punished accordingly and to the maximum extent possible.

We petition for all Residential Life Staff not directly involved in this incident to be trained to standards so there is no chance of an incident like this occurring ever again.
