- Do you really love animals and care about their welfare?
- Do you want the problem of strays to be dealt with properly?
- Do you believe that some people are hostile toward animals, due to ignorance?
- Do you carry out your obligations as pet owners faithfully?
If the answer to all of the above is yes, perhaps its time you demanded:
- Fast improvement in and enforcement of the legislation regarding animals
- The imposition of penalties to serve as examples for their abuse or killing
- More active State involvement for the protection-control of strays
- Providing special shelters in all the districts
- Setting up a program to collect animals (dead or not)
- Federalization of the animal groups, for better coordination
- Continuous State funding for spaying/neutering
- Organization of educational seminars on people-animal relations
- Introduction of a relevant class (of an informative nature) in schools
- Creation of recreation areas for pet owners and their pets
