OS X is a well-known and innovative operating system by Apple, Inc. During the past years, it has continually evolved. Each version has a designated codename or official name, such as: 'Cheetah', 'Puma', 'Jaguar', 'Panther', 'Tiger', and 'Leopard'.*
We, the signers of this document, hereby petition Apple Inc. to give the next upcoming version of OS X with major revision number 10.6 the name 'Pussycat'.
The rationale for this choice is that (1) smaller cats should be appreciated just as much as large and wild ones, (2) pussycats are nice creatures, and (3) it sounds cool. So please, Apple, give OS X 10.6 the name 'Pussycat'!
