Maintain the East Hurley River Road!!!

We, the concened people of the Bridge River Valley (hereafter referrred to as BRV) are getting this petition going in order to get our elected officials, and those with the control of the money is our province/country/regional district to respond to the unsafe condition of the East Hurley Road. Currently this PUBLIC road has been unmaintained for many years.
We hereby petiition the Minister of Transporation to improve our road to a safe standard for our residents and visitors by doing upgrades including, but not limited to:
-brushing the corners so the sight lines are better to reduce the risk of accidents
-grading twice yearly to improve the road condition and thereby safety
-widening the blind corners in order to make it safer for all using it
This road is a major access to Bralorne from the Sea-Sky corridor and one of a very few escape routes from the Bridge River Valley should Road 40 be closed due to slide or fire.
This request is reasonable. It is time that the needs of this beautiful, remote community along with its industry, Bralorne Gold Mines, are met. Please help us by signing!
