We, the Shareholders of the Hamilton Co-op Apartments, at 221-243 McDonald Avenue in Brooklyn, NY, are requesting that the Recreation Room, housed in the 243 building maintain the same hours and availability as the laundry room when the renovation of said room is complete. Its availability would be for all shareholders equally, with the exception of a private reservation for a special gathering, for which the current rental rates would apply.
Many of us dedicated our free time and labor to the renovation of the Recreation Room over the 2010 year, and feel that making the Recreation Room available to all is the fair and just course of action. We believe the Recreation Room should be used as a true community room and in a truly cooperative manner by and for all shareholders.
