If you are an MBFL GM, I would appreciate you all to take a few minutes to read over the following proposal, and sign this petition. As you know, the MBFL's trade policy is not the fairest. That is hardly the case when one person controls all trades. In the NFL the only time a trade is voided is if it is illegal in some way. Illegal does not have anything to do with being a fair trade, only if it conflicts with the salary cap or any other stipulation. The MBFL has always been concerned with trying to be a realistic football simulation league, but voiding trades contradicts this. In the NFL, General Managers who fail to maintain their team are fired. It is my strong belief that GMs should have the power to judge their trades for themselves freely, and without conflict from any other party not involved. We should be able to trade on our behalf, and none of this voiding. If you cannot manage your team, you will suffer the consequences on the field. I propose that we sign this petition to protest the voiding of trades. It is not the way things are done in the NFL, nor should they be in the MBFL. One problem that this may present is that a trade could be totally unfair. An example would be Randy Moss for a 7th. In this situation, the head of the league can take action. The trade would have to be "totally garbage" however for this to happen. In the NFL the Colts traded Marshall Faulk for a 2nd and a 4th, it was not voided. In the MBFL, seemingly fair trades are being voided everyday. One man cannot understand the thought behind anothers all the time. This is why I encourage everyone of you to sign this petition, and make the MBFL a more realistic and free league. If all of us take a few seconds to type out our names, we can make a difference that will make the MBFL a better league for everyone.
