New Skatepark for The Level

Young residents of Brighton & Hove have been waiting for years for Brighton & Hove City Council to implement the plans for a much needed new skatepark at The Level. The existing park is inadequate, heavily worn and poorly maintained and does not provide a safe environment for young people to participate in their chosen sports. We the undersigned petition Brighton & Hove City Council to provide a new, adequate skatepark facility at The Level, to be opened by June 2009 at the latest.

I feel a landmark skate park is a nesscity as Brighton has now acquired city status. It will keep youths off the streets too. And it will be an all round positive thing. Every city in the united kingdom has an indoor facility as well as a many outdoor one

The Level is absolutely knackered, the floor needs a serious re-doing and it just needs completely new ramps.
