Objection to Slim-Fast's Firing of Whoopi Goldberg

We the undersigned strongly object to the action taken by the Slim-Fast Corporation in dismissing spokesperson Whoopi Goldberg. We encourage the boycotting of all Slim-Fast products. Ms. Goldberg has always had a reputation for being outspoken in all areas, including politics. However, Slim-Fast has shown that it does not support a fundamental American freedom - freedom of speech. Firing Ms. Goldberg is tantamount to supporting censorship imposed by the intolerant extremes of the conservative right, and such censorship will not be accepted by Americans who understand and support our basic freedoms.
