Little by little our rights as christians, are being taken away.
Most public schools have already banned prayer from graduations etc, and now they want to take away the Pledge Of Allegiance or at least the "one nation under God" part.
This petition is for us christians to take a stand and show that we have rights too. Just as any athiest has a right to sit down and NOT participate in the Pledge of Allegiance or Graduation prayers, etc.. We should have every right to say the Pledge Of Allegiance and pray. Isn't it unconstitutional to take away our right to say the pledge? And if the student giving a speech at graduation wants to say a prayer, or just praise God for helping them get to that point--should it be a legal matter?
Please sign this petition for the rights of all Christians, but mainly for the students who are christians and have to deal with this; when they should be allowed to praise and pray to God anywhere, anytime.
