Our Duty to Veterans

We, the people of Canada, having need of military forces in war and peace, and requiring a national police force, recognize that members of these entities serve our greater need through personal risk and sacrifice.

We, the people of Canada, as the employer of these services, acknowledge our duty of care to those persons who have so served.

It is our belief:
- that financial and health care benefits should commence immediately upon request
- that entitlements should be granted unless disqualification is proven by the administering agency
- that every effort should be made to ensure veterans, their families and dependants, are adequately provided for, and
- that veterans should never have to fight for these entitlements.

This is Our Duty to Them.

Therefore, we, the undersigned people of Canada, request and require of our Government that action be taken to provide suitable and timely benefits for those who have served and sacrificed on our behalf.
