How do you feel about the 2008 Proposed Middle School redistricting?
We want neighborhood schools in McKinney. Our children are not a socio-economic experiment. We want logical feeder schools so that children can build strong relationships that build communities. We want access to our local schools, anyone is welcome to attend them but we bought our house to be close to the schools and it should be our right to attend them. We do not want our children bused for test scores. Please sign the petition if you are opposed to McKinney mandated busing. Help us stop the board from passing this redistribution before the parents have been heard and other alternatives looked into. Thank you so much

If Johnson/Faubion become Title I schools, this is evidence the student/teacher ratio should be reduced. Bussing hides the fact that some kids need extra attention. Raising test scores by averaging out the District is a false method to "address" the issue
