PETITION FOR THE RETURN OF PARK SPACE TO THE WEST LAWN OF THE CANADIAN MUSEUM OF NATURE.

Whereas; 1. During the renovations to the Canadian Museum of Nature, the National Capital Commission allowed the Museum to use a piece of land on the west side as a temporary parking lot; 2. Community residences understood that this piece of land would be converted to a park after the completion of the renovations; 3. It was recently announced that the Museum is planning to use three-quarters of the space as permanent parking. THEREFORE, THE UNDERSIGNED CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS REQUEST THAT THE NCC OWNED LAND COMPLETELY RETURN TO ITS ORIGINALLY INTENDED USE A PUBLIC PARK.
