Petition The Forced Youtube Beta Design

This petition is made in hopes to stop Youtube from enforcing the rule that every channel must upgrade to the sites new channel design beta. Yesterday, July 24th Youtube posted a blog via its blog channel and put a message regarding an update to channels on the top of every users description box on their channels. The in the blog Brain Glick of the youtube staff explained that Youtube will force the new channel design on everyone starting July 15th. As it stands right now users can decided to upgrade to the beta or not and if they do users have the option to go back to the classic design. What Youtube is doing with this forced upgrade is wrong. People should have the right to decided whether they want to upgrade or not and Mr. Glicks words on the blog where a complete and obvious lie. He states that hundreds and thousands of people are using the new beta design and that this was the reason for the upgrade, but thats far from the case. Hundreds and thousands of people have commented on the blog complaining about the forced upgrade and how they don't want it. The community has complained about this and channels that use the new beta are few and far between when compared to ones who use the classic design. Even if this was the case that does not explain or justify the forced upgrade. The majority of the sites users enjoy the classic design and if they haven't upgraded to the new one its, because they clearly don't like it. This beta is not attractive, does not feature the wide range of customizable options, and has proven harder and more annoying to use when compared to the classic. All we want is the ability to have the choice to pick and choose instead of being forced something that we as the community clearly don't want. This petition is being made in hopes that it will stop this action of forcing channel upgrades on the community that clearly doesn't want it.
